| What is mView? |
mView is a graphical interface developed for
the MorphoSys reconfigurable computing project
at the University of California at Irvine.
The control signals (contexts) for the array
of reconfigurable cells (RCs) can be graphically programmed from within
mView. A VHDL model of the RC array generates cycle-by-cycle simulation
results that can be read by mView and displayed, either stepping through
or a constant replay.
mView is written entirely in Tcl/Tk,
and is portable across X-Windows, Windows, and Macintosh systems.

Sun Labs has developed a scripting language
called Tcl/Tk that is suitable for multi-platform applications, running
on Unix, Windows, and Macintosh with no changes to the source code.
